American professional Bryn Kenney continues to demonstrate phenomenal form, claiming victory at the Triton Poker Jeju event with a $50,000 buy-in. This success not only brought him an impressive prize pool of over $1.3 million (including bounty), but also allowed him to increase his lead over closest rival Justin Bonomo in the all-time The Hendon Mob rankings.

Now, the 32-year-old player from New York has more than $75 million in live tournament winnings – a result that makes him the absolute leader in global poker by this metric.

Interestingly, before his triumph in Event #10, Kenney had already taken second place in another prestigious series event, earning nearly $1.9 million. Thus, in just a few days, he managed to boost his bankroll by an amount that many players earn over their entire career.

In the final table of the new tournament, experienced professionals particularly stood out. Legendary poker player Erik Seidel, despite an early exit, took home a respectable $151,500. At the same time, Chance Kornuth and Stephen Chidwick performed less successfully, finishing in 9th and 8th places respectively.

The most unexpected finalist was Spanish player Jon Ander Vallinas, who managed to reach heads-up against Kenney, but couldn’t overcome the American in the decisive hand, finishing in second place with a check for $577,000.

It’s worth noting that the total prize pool of the tournament amounted to $3,260,000, and among the participants were many stars of global poker, including Brandon Wilson, one of the best players of the current year, who narrowly missed out on a cash finish.
