The main event at the start of October, with games taking place midweek rather than on the weekend, was the Wuxi Masters tournament. The event featured nearly the entire FIBA 3×3 world ranking Top 10.

The tournament’s highlight was the home team, Wuxi WenLv, led by the star, powerful, and charismatic DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins. Fans eagerly awaited a dominant and exciting performance from him, and he did not disappoint. The Wuxi WenLv team reached the semifinals but was ultimately defeated by Amsterdam.

This was Wuxi’s second loss in the championship. Their debut match saw them fall to the Serbian Partizan Meta Force, which bested Boogie’s team. However, all other teams suffered losses to DeMarcus Cousins and his squad.

Though the lineup at the Zigui Yichang Challenger was less star-studded, as many of the top teams were in Wuxi, the competition was no less intense. After fierce battles, Raudondvaris Hoptrans from Lithuania and Paris made it to the final, with the Lithuanians emerging victorious. They secured a ticket to the Manama Masters in November.
