In a tense match of the 31st round of the EuroLeague, the Partizan basketball players rebounded from their recent defeat against Efes, confidently defeating Alba with a score of 85:71.

The starting minutes were challenging for the home team. Despite the experimental lineup proposed by head coach Zeljko Obradovic, the game wasn’t coming together. The first quarter remained with the visitors from Berlin – 13:14. The hosts were unable to take the lead at any point.

The turning point came in the second period. After a timeout called by Obradovic, the team transformed. Carlik and Brown took the initiative, and an accurate three-point shot restored confidence to Partizan. By halftime, the advantage of the Belgrade team was substantial — around 6 points.

Ultimately, the Serbian team seemed to have sensed blood and began aggressively attacking the visitors. Despite sharp attacks from the German team, the Serbs didn’t falter and immediately went on the offensive, not waiting for the opponent to regroup on the court. As a result, several such attacks immediately resulted in points — the Alba players couldn’t organize the defense of their basket in time.

This victory became the sixteenth of the season for Partizan, strengthening the team’s position in the middle of the standings. As for Alba, the team remains at the bottom of the table, but its players showed determination to win in Belgrade.
