Already at the end of March 2025, the EuroBasket 2025 draw will take place, determining the opponents for participation in the tournament. The Serbian national team has been placed in the first basket alongside other leading basketball teams of the continent.
The European Basketball Championship will bring together 24 teams divided into six baskets. The first basket includes powerhouse teams such as Serbia, Germany, France, and Spain.
The second basket consists of Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia, and Greece. The third includes Italy, Montenegro, Poland, and the Czech Republic. The fourth features Finland, Georgia, Turkey, and Israel. The fifth brings together Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Estonia, and Great Britain. Completing the list are the teams in the sixth basket: Sweden, Iceland, Portugal, and Cyprus.
