In the 18th round of the EuroLeague, Belgrade’s Partizan claimed victory over Istanbul’s Fenerbahce with a score of 90:81, despite missing several key players.

The match, held in a packed Belgrade Arena, was a true test for the Serbian team. Partizan played without some of its strongest players. The team was missing injured Vanja Marinković, Ife Lundberg, and Mitra Bošnjaković, as well as Issac Bonga, who missed the game due to a cold. However, even with this lineup, Partizan managed to deliver an impressive performance.

The game began with a confident start by the hosts, who finished the first quarter with a 25:21 lead. In the second quarter, Partizan extended their advantage, going into halftime with a 47:38 lead.

Despite Fenerbahce’s attempts to close the gap in the third quarter, Partizan maintained their lead, entering the final period with a 65:57 advantage. In the fourth quarter, Partizan continued to dominate, securing the win with a final score of 90:81.

This victory improved Partizan’s standing in the EuroLeague, bringing their record to 8 wins and 10 losses, while Fenerbahce suffered their third consecutive defeat, now holding a record of 10 wins and 7 losses.

Partizan’s next match will take place in 2025 against Maccabi Tel Aviv, while Fenerbahce will face Efes in an Istanbul derby.
