The first day was decisive for the home team, Hong Kong, as today marked the qualifiers for the only team to advance to the main stage of the tournament on Saturday.

Three teams competed for this spot: the hosts Hong Kong, the American team Princeton, and the Latvian team Kandava Turība. After the qualifying games, the hosts and the Latvians were unable to secure a victory—Princeton advanced to the main tournament

On Saturday, the court will host 12 of the strongest teams. Interestingly, Pool A includes three Serbian teams ranked among the world’s top: Ub Huishan NE, Partizan Meta Force, and Liman. All three teams are exceptionally strong, and if placed in different groups, they could have reached the semifinals together. However, the draw has determined that one of these leaders must exit the race on the first day, giving other teams a chance to compete for the title of FIBA 3×3 2024 Final champion.

Pool B will feature Miami, Lausanne, and Raudondvaris Hoptrans. Pool C will see battles between Amsterdam, Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy, and Riffa. Meanwhile, Pool D will showcase Paris, Princeton, and Vienna.

We are looking forward to thrilling games at the FIBA 3×3 World Tour 2024 Final!
