Tundra Esports became the winner of the first major LAN tournament of 2025 in Dota 2 — FISSURE PLAYGROUND 1. The final of the competition took place on Sunday, February 2, in Belgrade (Serbia). The tournament brought together 16 of the best teams from around the world.

In the grand final, the European Tundra Esports secured an impressive victory over Team Falcons with a score of 3:2. The Falcons team took the lead by winning the first two games, but Tundra Esports managed to turn the series around, achieving three consecutive decisive victories. This success marked the team’s first major win since their triumph at The International 2022.

The tournament’s prize pool amounted to $1 million. The winners, Tundra Esports, received the main prize of $400,000, while the silver medalists, Team Falcons, earned $170,000. Third place was taken by the Russian team PARIVISION ($100,000), and fourth place went to the Serbian Team Spirit ($75,000).

Tundra Esports player Anton ‘dyrachyo’ Shkredov was named the Most Valuable Player of FISSURE PLAYGROUND 1 – DOTA and received $2,000. For him, the tournament was his first with Tundra Esports, and ultimately, the team’s victory became one of the biggest talking points in the Russian-speaking Dota 2 community.

The format of LAN tournaments is considered one of the most prestigious in esports, as it allows teams to gather in one location and compete in real-time, creating a unique atmosphere and spectacle. The tournament ran from January 24 to February 2 in the capital of Serbia and became a significant event at the start of the year for the global Dota 2 community.

The overall level of competition at the tournament was exceptionally high: in addition to European teams, participants included representatives from such strong esports regions as China, Southeast Asia, South America, and others. Among the competitors were also teams that qualified through regional qualifiers, adding dynamism and surprises to the battle for the top spots.
